Our modern portable hand held Material Analyzer is capable of analyzing the majority of alloys and materials used in the Energy, Power, Aerospace and virtually any other industry. It displays the elements that make up the material, down to one hundredth of a percent.
It is capable of identifying alloys such as Stainless steels, Nickel based steels, Tool steels, Inconels, Titanium and hundreds of other alloys – all within a few seconds! Certificates of Analysis can be issued with confidence as the equipment is calibrated to standards traceable to NIST and operators have been trained in the proper use of the equipment. The equipment is also portable, meaning we can analyze materials on your premises.
We have found that in some instances special exotic materials are not always available locally. By using our Material Analyzer, in combination with our Metals Database and experience, we can offer suggestions of a similar composition material that may either replace or offer temporary replacement of the original material.
In addition, we can also check the hardness values of materials using the most modern portable Hardness Tester. Along with the Materials Analyzer, we can now manufacture parts using the same materials as the OEM’s. This will also ensure that we can heat treat items to have the same hardness values as the original items, with confidence.
