This new facility was designed and constructed to ensure that the stored items are protected from high temperature, and more importantly, humidity. The storage facility has been designed with Heavy Duty shelving and the Turbine rotor racks are designed to withstand earthquakes up to 7.0 on the Richter scale.

The facility is equipped with a backup generator to guarantee temperature and dehumidification at all times. Temperature and Relative humidity are monitored on line using NIST certified sensors and redundancy has been provided for both Temperature and Humidity equipment.
